The pessimist complains about the wind. The optimist expects it to change. The leader adjusts the sails.

Supporting your people

Alongside my individual coaching, I work with organisations who want to support their people more thoughtfully, not just in what they do, but in how they experience and deliver their work.

Sometimes, individual employees or teams reach a point where something feels stuck, overwhelming, difficult to navigate or they just need some support to help them move forward.

This may show up in

  • confidence, direction, or clarity
  • relationships, communication or engagement
  • ways of working with processes or systems
  • coping with change and transitions
  • stress or burnout
  • values, purpose, vision, mission or objectives.

Developing coaching conversations at work

I work with leaders to help them and their teams step back from the day-to-day noise and take time out to think about what's working, what's not and how things could be improved.

This isn't about turning leaders or managers into coaches. It's about developing a different kind of conversation.

"The sessions were extremely helpful. We covered a good balance of big picture thinking and drilling down into tangible actions. I came away better able to cope with responsibilities and pressures as well as having a clearer sense of how to work towards my long term goals."

How this work tends to begin

Each organisation is different, so we usually start with a conversation. We explore:

  • what you're noticing in your teams
  • where things seem to be getting stuck
  • what kind of support might be most helpful.

From there, we can shape something that fits your context, which could include:

  • individual coaching
  • training and skills support for leaders and managers
  • improving understanding of self and others using the DISC profiling tool
  • building a coaching and continuous improvement culture with a mix of coaching, workshops, training and team building days.

"Elena armed us with a number of useful techniques and tools, which we are building into our habits. I am finding myself sharing these with other people across the organisation, so her impact on me, I hope, will have a knock on impact on others."

Head of Service, National Charity

"Elena had the ability to make sense of what goes on inside my busy brain and come up with ways to make life easier for me. The workplace strategies will be so useful now and in years to come as she taught me how to adapt them to different situations. I can't recommend her enough".
